This research aims to reflect on the intersections between educational issues in the 1940s in Ceará and the size of these political ideas and its purposes and constructions considering Education and Teaching. The paper will consider newspapers from the period that discussed issues of Teaching and Education in its pages. Among them, there is the News Gazette, popular daily morning the capital, due to its approach to the problem of education. The present work deals primarily with multiple possible links between education and the Press in the state of Ceara in the 1940s. In addition to the educational press, the objective is to think of the points of articulation between these areas. In this regard, issues about censorship in the 1940s are important to discuss the conditions of production sources. We aim to point the uses and objectives of this Instruction / Education, located in a historical period where there is the end of the authoritarian regime called the Estado Novo and the context of Brazilian democracy. The overall objective of the research is to analyze how speeches about what would be considered schooling and what opinions about social education based on morals, discipline and civility, under the aegis of paternal progress, intended to achieve moral purity, a purity of people's customs. Regarding the methodological procedures that guide the search, there is a scope for transition between the micro and the macro in the shuffling of social logic, but also perform the reverse process, featuring therefore scale games like ponders Jacques Revel.
